Havaianas x Flowco partnership was born with the purpose of upcycling old Havaianas flip flops that were returned in selected stores. Together, we produced a new yoga mat designed to be gifted to the employees of Havaianas' European offices, which aims to be the first step on this long road to sustainability and waste recovery. We have developed these mats in three colours: black, camel and white.
At flowco, we focus on adding value to waste from other industries, reintroducing it back into the circular economy cycle. However, we also use production methods that allow us to valorise our own production waste. Nothing is lost, everything is transformed! And everything we have today could in the future be transformed into new yoga mats or new products.
Each Havaianas x Flowco Yoga Mat equals the recycling of 12 Havaianas pairs (24 flip-flops). And, for us, that's pretty cool.
